Event 1: Preparing To Lead DOE Projects> 01/27/2025 - 01/30/2025 @ Stanford 

  • Themes: Kickoff, self-assessment, cultural perspectives, emotional intelligence, managing project teams 
  • Participants will review completed leadership assessment exercises
  • Includes content from Stanford and other instructors to gain insights about your own and others' strengths, as well as new insights and skills that will enable you to coordinate, communicate and collaborate more effectively with team members 

Event 2: Becoming a Highly Effective Leader> 03/17/2025 - 03/20/2025 @ Jefferson Lab

  • Themes: Effective project leadership, project pre-planning, executing project strategy, stakeholder collaboration, relationships, and communications
  • Includes content from Stanford and other instructors for strategic execution that incorporates a variety of proven approaches and emerging concepts to align project initiatives with strategic objectives

Event 3:  Positioning the Project for Success > 05/12/2025 - 05/15/2025 @ UC Boulder

  • Themes: Risk and contingency management; decision theory, analysis, geometric thinking; front-end planning process; presentation skills

Event  4:  Leading Innovation> 06/2025 - 07/2025 @ Online - Self-paced 

  • Online Stanford course
  • Theme: Understanding the crucial role that leadership plays in achieving top organizational performance.

Event  5: Delivering High-Risk Complex Projects> 09/08/2025 - 09/11/2025 @ Fermilab

  • Themes: Construction/vendor management; interfacing with vendor/construction firms; project delivery methods
  • Includes content from Stanford instructors to teach you the critical success factors of program execution

Event 6: Navigating to the Finish> 11/3/2025 - 11/6/2025 @ Washington, DC

  • Themes: Negotiations; change management; stakeholder relationships; crisis management;
  • Presentation of capstone projects;
  • Participants will reflect on career planning and self-reflection;
  • Concluding certificate ceremony and celebration
